The newly implemented collision operator satisfies the conservation properties of particles, momentum, and energy, as well as the adjointness relations for collisions between different particle species, which are numerically confirmed by the test simulations. The linear zonal flow response with finite collisionality, is also compared between the new collision operator and the simplified model collision operator.
